For years, business customers of a major financial institution had struggled with outdated, manual-heavy banking tools. Transaction delays, limited self-service options, and complex processes created frustration, especially for small and mid-sized businesses used to consumer-grade digital experiences.


Approach

We partnered with the bank to redesign and rebuild its business banking platform from the ground up. Our team started with customer journey mapping to identify pain points and must-have features. From there, we created a streamlined, modern user interface, emphasizing self-service features like wire transfers, payroll management, and multi-user permissions.


On the backend, we re-architected the platform to support faster transaction processing and API-based integrations with accounting and payroll systems. Security and compliance were enhanced through modern authentication protocols. Finally, usability testing ensured the new platform worked for both small businesses and large enterprises.


Outcome

The result was a fully modernized business banking platform that reduced operational costs, improved transaction speed, and delivered a digital experience on par with consumer apps, a major competitive advantage.
